Dear Pat,
I was so sorry to read of Jim's passing. I hope that you remember me from our proofreading days at Doubleday during the summers when I was in college. I remember Jim, your lovely home, your red Volkswagen, and your visit to see me at Mary Washington College. I still use your recipe to bake snickerdoodles. You and Jim were a very special couple then as I'm sure that you were until the end. I hope that you are in good health and that you can find peace and comfort in the wonderful memories that you must have of your life together. Pam

Jim, ole buddy, so you're moving on before me. I'm certain you remember our chess games and attending car shows. I have many fond memories of our friendship when we were young.

Another of the Hanover Gang has headed into the sunset. rest in peace my friend..
Jim, though we have been out of touch for these many years, I will always remember your kindness, friendship and dry humor, and cherish our days at the Diner, our shared love for history and shooting black powder.

Pat, We are very sorry to hear of the death of Jim. Always enjoyed talking with him when we lived in New Oxford and on our visits to New Oxford and remember a couple of canoeing adventures on the creek. We will certainly keep you in our prayers and thoughts

I loved Jim's generous and sharing soul. I will miss his humor, too. I think he is on the train bound for glory! Farewell, friend!
