Elizabeth "Liz" Ann (Weaver) Martz

Elizabeth “Liz” Ann (Weaver) Martz, 70, entered heavens gates on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at home, with her loving children by her side.  She was the wife of the late George F. “Frank” Martz.

Liz was born February 14, 1947, in Dallastown, the daughter of the late Francis Thomas and Betty Alma (Gohn) Weaver.

Liz enjoyed ceramics, wood working, and making crafts for her family.

Liz is survived by her companion of 29 years, Donald “Leroy” Plank, daughter Kathy S. Laughman and her husband Daniel of East Berlin, daughter Christine L. Garrett and her husband Dave of Hanover, son Kevin A. Martz and his wife Sonia (Burkett) of York, grandchildren Kayla C. Fritz and her husband Walt, Brandon S. DeHoff and his wife Heather, Danielle L. Laughman, Alisha M. Sheets, Zach A. Martz, Joey F. Martz, and Nate A. Laughman, two great grandsons, Owen S. DeHoff and Oliver G. DeHoff, four brothers, two sisters, and a number of nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by one sister, two brothers, and one granddaughter, Samantha A. Laughman.

As per her wishes, she will be cremated and there will be a celebration of her life at Hanover Foursquare Church, 518 Wilson Ave, Hanover, with Pastors Kevin and Cindy Orewiler officiating, on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 4 PM.  Memorial contributions may be made to AseraCare Hospice, 44 Bowman Rd, York, PA  17408 or to the family to help defray medical expenses.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
