Robert B. "Bob" Myers

Robert B. “Bob” Myers, 91, of East Berlin, died Friday, November 10, 2017, at Fair Havens personal Care Home in Hanover. He was the husband of the late Martha M. (Eisenhart) Myers, who died on May 26, 2003. 

Bob was born September 1, 1926 in Hampstead, MD, the son of the late Ira H. and Myrtle J. (Forsythe) Myers. 

Bob was a graduate of East Berlin high school, class of 1944, and a WWII Veteran, serving with the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific. He retired from the U.S. Naval Depot in Mechanicsburg, and was a lifetime member of VFW Post 8896, Richard J. Gross.

Bob is survived by a daughter, Carol J. Myers of East Berlin, a brother, Richard C. Myers and his wife Doris of East Berlin, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers; Donald and Luther Myers and a half brother, William R. McCleaf.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at 11 AM at  Zwingli U.C.C., 403 W. King St., East Berlin with Rev. Dr. Margaret J. Wise officiating. Burial will be in the East Berlin Union Cemetery. The honor guard of the East Berlin VFW, Post 8896 will conduct military rites. A visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zwingli U.C.C.
