Lena I. LeGore, 66, of New Oxford, died peacefully on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at Hanover Hospital.
Lena was born December 25, 1950, in Gettysburg, the daughter of the late LaVerne A. and Ethel I. (Group) LeGore.
Lena was a graduate of Gettysburg High School, and attended various churches throughout Adams County during her life. She enjoyed spending time with her family, the outdoors, gardening and cooking.
Lena is survived by two sons, Matthew A. Muller and his wife Donna of Abbottstown, and Dustin A. Muller and his wife Angela of York Springs, three grandchildren, Conrad T. Muller, Hannah L. Muller, and Caleb J. Muller, four sisters, Linda A. Hughes of Whitehall, Lucille M. Yingling of Gettysburg, Louella M. Geiman of Arkansas, and Laura K. Porter of New Oxford, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, LaVerne A. LeGore and Leonard R. Benner, and a sister, Darlene L. LeGore.
Following cremation, a celebration of Lena’s life will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017, from 12-3 PM at Cross Keys Fellowship Church, 785 Berlin Rd, New Oxford, with a few words to be spoken at 1:30 PM.
