Roger L. Wagaman, 78, passed Thursday, March 21, 2024, at his home. He was the husband of Vicki D. (Glatfelter) Wagaman, his wife of 58 years.
Roger was born October 3, 1945, in Bendersville, the son of the late Frank and Tillie (Warren) Wagaman.
Roger was a truck driver and co-owner of Hanover Cold Storage. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer, a member of New Oxford Social & Athletic Club, and attended Heidlersburg United Brethren Church.
In addition to his wife Vicki, Roger is survived by a daughter, Kara McCauslin and her husband Jason of York Springs, a son, Chris Wagaman and his wife Jen of East Berlin, four grandchildren, Sarah Mummert and her husband Luke of East Berlin, Adam Wagaman of Hershey, Jake McCauslin of York Springs, and Emma McCauslin of York Springs, two great grandchildren, Jackson Mummert and Everly Mummert of East Berlin, and a brother, Randy Wagaman and his wife Sue of Aspers. He was predeceased by two brothers, Gary Wagaman and Kenny Wagaman.
A celebration of Roger’s life will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Heidlersburg United Brethren Church, 2736 Heidlersburg Rd, Gettysburg. The service will begin at 12pm. A light lunch and visitation with family will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 42040, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
