Vivian Louise (Davis) Jarboe, 95, passed away peacefully surrounded by family Sunday, July 2, 2023 at The Brethren Home Community in New Oxford, PA.
Born February 26, 1928 in Washington, DC, Vivian was one of 10 children, the daughter of Margaret and P. A. Davis. Vivian was employed as a Dictaphone operator in Washington, DC before starting a family with Leo P. Jarboe, her husband of 70 years. Together "Bubbles" and Leo volunteered their service at the V.F.W. in Morningside, Maryland, serving together in the kitchen and attending conventions in Ocean City. They enjoyed many vacations to the Eastern Shore, and visited beaches from New Jersey to Florida. Together, they loved traveling to Leo's WWII ship's reunions, yard-saling, and raising Boston Terriers. Vivian was frequently found working a crossword or jigsaw puzzle, while answering all of the questions to her favorite game shows. She enjoyed collecting California Raisins and Shirley Temple dolls, and listening to Country and Western music, especially her favorite, Eddie Arnold.
Vivian is survived by her four children, James R. Jarboe and his wife Moya, Michael A. Jarboe and his wife Susan, Donald P. Jarboe and his wife Denise, and Patricia A. Fenby and her husband Nathan. Vivian thoroughly enjoyed spending countless hours with her 11 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Feiser Funeral Home, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, PA the evening of Wednesday, July 26, 2023 from 7:00 - 8:00 PM.
The funeral will be held Thursday, July 27 at 11:15 AM at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery in Cheltenham, MD.
