Virginia L. (Chance) Coleman, 88, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021 at her home. She was the wife of C. Ronald “Ron” Coleman.
Virginia was born November 12, 1933 in Goldsboro, Queen Anne Co, MD, the daughter of the late Emmett and Eleanora G. (Gordon) Chance.
Virginia lived most of her life in the Baltimore area, and was a graduate of Forest Park high school, class of 1952.
Virginia was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, the Ladies of the Elks, both of Hanover, the Red Hat Club, and the Lake Meade Homemakers. Virginia volunteered with the Jean Barnett Trone Memorial Library of East Berlin for many years.
In addition to her husband, Ron, Virginia was survived by a son, Kevin F. Ketler and his wife Terry of Forest Hill, MD, a daughter, Carol A. Brown and her husband David S., of Baltimore, MD, four grandchildren, Sean, Heather, Emilee and Natilee, and a great granddaughter, Olivia.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 5 PM at Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 306 Harrisburg St., East Berlin. Burial will be in Loudon Park Cemetery, 3620 Wilkens Ave, Baltimore, MD, Tuesday, December 14th, 2021 at 11:30 AM. A viewing will be held at the funeral home Wednesday, December 1, 2021, from 3 PM until the time of service.
