Obituary

Shirley M. (Stone) Wolfe, 73, passed away Friday, September 16, 2022 at WellSpan York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Philip H “Phil” Wolfe, who died February 5, 2005.

Shirley was born May 2, 1949 in Enola, the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth E. (Brooks) Stone, Sr.

Shirley enjoyed attending car races at Lincoln Speedway, loved country music, listening to the music of Nate Merovich, and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are two daughters, Melissa A. Wolfe of Franklintown, and Sharon Walls of York Springs, one son, John Wolfe, twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild, two sisters, Nancy Staub of Millersburg and Dolly Stone of Wellsville, two brothers, Sam Stone of Wellsville, Bub Stone of Dillsburg, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was predeceased by two brothers, Jim and Butch Stone, and a sister, Jane Stevens.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Mt Olivet U.C.C. Cemetery, 265 Two Churches Road, East Berlin. Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 306 Harrisburg St., East Berlin, is in charge of arrangements. Memories may be shared on www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
