Robert S. Orndorff

Robert S. Orndorff, 70, passed Saturday, December 25, 2021, at ManorCare North in York.  He was the husband of Betty J. (Costella) Orndorff, his wife of 21 years.

Bob was born April 7, 1951, in Hanover, the son of the late Nelson J. and Mary L. “Sis” (Staub) Orndorff.

Bob was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Oxford, and New Oxford Social & Athletic Club.  He was employed for more than 25 years at Sheridan Press in Hanover.

In addition to his wife Betty, Bob is survived by a stepson, Jack J. Thomas and his wife Nicole of East Berlin, two grandchildren, Zackery and Kierstyn Thomas of East Berlin, three brothers, Michael Orndorff and his wife Penny of Ocean View, DE, and Clement Orndorff and Joseph Orndorff, both of New Oxford, and four sisters, Cynthia Hoffacker and her husband Bill of New Oxford, Yvonne Emig and her husband Donald of Hanover, Marcy Orendorff and her companion Tony Kuhn of New Oxford, and Lainey Miller and her husband Tom of New Oxford.  He was predeceased by a stepdaughter, Kristy Thomas.

Following cremation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 31, 2021, at 11 AM, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 106 Carlisle St, New Oxford, with Rev.
