Robert L. Hempfing, 67, died Sunday, March 14, 2021, at UPMC Hanover Hospital.  He was the husband of Linda A. (Nitchman) Hempfing, with whom he would have celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary on March 23.

Bob was born October 29, 1953, in Hanover, the son of the late George and Gertrude (Rohrbaugh) Hempfing.

Bob worked at D.K. Hershey and L&H Trucking as shop foreman, and was currently working part-time at Norm’s Auction.  He enjoyed going to auctions, working at Norm’s and spending time with his family.  Bob was a loving husband and father, and he will be truly missed.

In addition to his wife Linda, Bob is survived by a stepson, Dustin M. Addison and his wife Jennifer of Hellam, and a brother, Richard Hempfing of New Oxford.  He was predeceased by a stepson, Christopher Addison.

Funeral services will be private.  Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 306 Harrisburg St, East Berlin, is in charge of arrangements.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.

Linda, you know by now that Karl & I never thought that week would end the way it did.  We know in our hearts Bob is home with his heavenly Father and earthly parents  It is his family & friends who are left behind to grieve him.  It just doesn't seem the same in our little area of Paradise.  Karl & I are here for YOU!  Just let us know.

Tom and I practically grew up together went to HighSchool together till he went to vo-tech and I stayed up South Western High School we work together at barnhart's Market ran around and went fishing always remember Bob for the great guy that he was. we had a lot of good times may you rest in peace
