Patricia Louise St. Clair, also known as Pat, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2023, at the age of 87 at the Gardens in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. She was born on September 15, 1935, in Cresson, Pennsylvania, to Raymond and Irene Lauer.
Patricia was the youngest of 10 children and grew up in a large, loud and turbulent family. In 1955, she married Gene, a career soldier, and together they embarked on a journey as a military family. Patricia's resilience and adaptability shone through as she created a home for their family, no matter where the military stationed them. Their travels took them to Kentucky, Germany, West Virginia and Pennsylvania, until they finally settled in York Springs in 1968; where Patricia resided until her passing. She was well-known for her unique style and zest for life.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was predeceased by her siblings: Gordon Lauer, Raymond Lauer, Irene Ratchford, Marilyn Miller, Edna Mae Nauss, Harold Lauer and George Lauer. She is survived by her sister Clara Rehrer and her brother John Lauer. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Gene St. Clair in October 1992.
Patricia is survived by her son Gene M. St. Clair, and his wife Cindy, her son, George J. St. Clair of Waymart, Pa, her daughter Agnes I. Baral and her husband John of New Oxford, Pa, as well as three grandchildren, Michael St. Clair and fiancée Melisa Yung of Shippensburg Pa, Vanessa Freed and her husband Michael of Chester Springs, Pa, Jessica Green and her husband Ryan, of Mechanicsburg Pa, and seven great-grandchildren.
