Merl E. Linebaugh

Merl E. “Joe” Linebaugh, 95, passed Monday, September 11, 2023, at The Gardens at Gettysburg.

Joe was born February 4, 1928, in Washington Twp., York Co., PA, the son of the late Amos and Lucy L. (Stine) Linebaugh, Sr.

Joe worked on farms throughout his life and also at the H.A.R.T. Center in New Oxford.

Joe is survived by a brother, Glen “Skip” Linebaugh of Red Lion, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, a graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at 10 AM, at St. John’s Cemetery, 100 E. Water St, Abbottstown, with Rev. Shawn Berkebile officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church Endowment Fund, 100 E. Water St, Abbottstown, PA 17301.  Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, is in charge of arrangements.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
