Linwood “Woody” H. Bosserman, 81, of New Oxford, died June 1, 2021 peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. He was the husband of Mildred (Bennett) Bosserman with whom he shared 55 years of marriage at the time of his passing. Born September 23, 1939, in Hamilton Township in Adams County, a son of the late William and E. Louise (Bream) Bosserman. From the time Woody was a little boy, the only job he wanted was to be a Truck Driver. He fulfilled that dream and drove over 50 years; mostly with Oxford Container (Tim-Bar) and Kinard Trucking. Woody always placed family first and was a proud father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Fred L. Bosserman and his wife Pamela, Cynthia L. Bosserman, and Anita D. Moore and her husband Robert. He is survived by three grandchildren: Brandon L. Bosserman and his wife Emily, Matthew F. Bosserman and his fiancé Tonja and Taylor L. Moore. He was Pappy Woody to seven great grandchildren: Dylan, Tristen, Savanah, Hunter, Mollie, Wyatt, and Allyson. He is also survived by two brothers, William Bosserman (Donna) and David Bosserman. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 5, 2021 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM at Feiser Funeral Home, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford.
