Joan (Griffiths) Weaver

Joan Weaver Obituary

Joan Weaver (nee Griffiths) 98, of New Oxford, formerly of Dundalk, MD, passed March 15, 2022, after a short illness.  Born in Manchester, England, she survived the Manchester Blitz, met and married Willis G. Weaver (predeceased) U.S. Army, European Tour, U.S. Army Air Corps in 1945.  Joan entered the U.S. through Ellis Island in 1947 as a "War Bride" and became a citizen in 1958.  She is survived by son, David (Mrs. Dana), daughter Diane, and granddaughter Tristan.  Services will be at the convenience of the family.  The family requests a donation be made to the Good Samaritan Fund of The Brethren Home Community, 2990 Carlisle Pike, New Oxford, PA 17350 in lieu of flowers. Feiser Funeral Home Inc, is in charge of arrangements.
