Jeune R. Leas

Jeune Resser Leas, 96, of New Oxford, passed Friday, October 20, 2023 at The Brethren Home Community Personal Care unit. She was the wife of the late Arthur E. “Shreve” Leas, who died April 19, 2013.

Jeune was born June 8, 1927 in York, the daughter of the late Justin and Anna Mae (Shaffer) Resser.

Jeune enjoyed her time with the residents and staff at the Brethren Home.

Surviving are five nephews, Jacque Hoffman of East Berlin, Scott Resser and Steve Resser of Lemoyne, Jeffrey Eisenhart of East Berlin and Gerald Eisenhart of Jackson, FL, and numerous great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Hazel Hoffman and Dottie Mae Eisenhart, and two brothers, Richard and Edwin Resser.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 11 AM, at Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 306 Harrisburg St, East Berlin, with Pastor Linda Titzell officiating. Burial will be in East Berlin Union Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Randy Tate, Timothy Raubenstine, Ryan Eisenhart, and Jeffery Eisenhart. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of the service. Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
