Edwin Henry Schneider

Edwin Henry Schneider, 84, died Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Baltimore Washington Hospital due to Covid complications.  He was a member and council member of St. Paul’s UCC Church, New Oxford, PA. He also served on New Oxford Borough Council and served as President; New Oxford Municipal Water Authority, New Oxford Cemetery Board, Boy Scout Troop 85, and was a Little League Baseball Coach.  He was also a member of American Legion, VFW, and Republican Club.  Ed was a 50+ year 32* Mason, and a Veteran.  He volunteered later in life as a Meals on Wheels volunteer and 20 years with the New Oxford Lions Club and was a past President and Melvin Jones.

He was the husband of the late Margaret Luecht Schneider and is survived by his daughters Cindy Wood & son in law Patrick; Lori Turcheck & son in law Randall; and son Edwin Jeffrey Schneider & daughter in law Lori.  Grandchildren: Christopher Norris, Jennifer Elliott, Kelsey Wood, Derek Schneider, and Katie Schneider.   Great grandchildren: Jacob & Gabriel Norris and Kayden Kennedy Schneider & Beau Schneider.

Ed retired from Printing Production Control at Herff Jones Yearbooks. Ed loved to golf, travel, fish and repair technology and computers.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at the New Oxford Cemetery at 4791 York Road (RT 30), New Oxford, PA 17350 on Monday, January 4th, 2021 at 11:00a.m.
