Curvin F. Tyson, 79, passed Thursday, August 11, 2022, at his home. He was the husband of Bonnie K. (Yohe) Tyson, his wife of 47 years, and the late Sharon (Frey) Tyson.
Curvin was born November 15, 1942, in Lower Windsor Twp., the son of the late Wilbur E. and Pauline E. (Arnold) Tyson.
Curvin was a 1961 graduate of Central York High School, and a member of Bermudian Church, East Berlin, Local Union #542, Zeredatha White Rose Masonic Lodge #541, York, and Tall Cedars of Lebanon, York Forest #30.
In addition to his wife Bonnie, Curvin is survived by two daughters, Korena S. Mauston and her husband Gary of McKnightstown, and Korena K. (Kann) Rosenberry and her husband Trevor of Wellsville, a son, David C. “Buzz” Tyson of Oxford, seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, three brothers, James Tyson of East Prospect, Duane Tyson of Newberrytown, and Dennis Tyson of Mt. Wolf, and two sisters, Dawn Wallick of York, and Robin Gise of Windsor.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at 11 AM, at Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 306 Harrisburg St, East Berlin, with Pastor Georgia Markey officiating. Burial will be in Lower Bermudian Church Cemetery. Viewings will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 PM, and on Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of the service.
