Charles Flickinger Obituary

Charles M. Flickinger, Sr, 70, died Friday, November 12, 2021, at WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital. He was the husband of Susan D. (Hatfield) Flickinger, his wife of 25 years.

Charles was born August 22, 1951, in York, the son of the late Earl S. and Pauline (Gemmel) Flickinger.

In addition to his wife Susan, Charles is survived by his children, Shawn Unger and her companion Vince of Hanover, Charles Flickinger, Jr, and his wife Heidi of CT, Tasha Brady of Mechanicsburg, Nicole Flickinger of Littlestown, and Ashley Nelson and her husband Joe of New Oxford, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two brothers, Jeff Flickinger of Houston, TX, and Bruce Flickinger of New Oxford, and a sister, Dawn Good of Bonneauville. He was predeceased by two brothers, Earl Flickinger, Jr, and Gary Flickinger.

At Charles’ request, there will be no services. Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, is in charge of arrangements. Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
