Barbara J. (Staub) Laughman

Barbara J. (Staub) Laughman, 79, passed Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Encompass Health in York.  She was the wife of Robert E. Laughman, her husband of 60 years.

Barb was born December 24, 1942, in Hanover, the daughter of the late Ellis Staub, and the late Clara (Utz) Smith.

Barb was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Oxford.

In addition to her husband Bob, Barb is survived by a daughter, Tammy M. Carpenter and her husband Cory of New Oxford, a son, Troy E. Laughman and his wife Roxanne of York, four grandchildren, Tawny Saunders and her husband Scott, Sierra Massicot, and her husband Jacob, Hunter Carpenter and Joseph Laughman, two sisters, Ruthetta C. Baldwin, of Shade Gap, and Pauline M. Lerch of Hanover, and two brothers, Gordon D. Staub, and Robert B. Staub, both of New Oxford.  She was predeceased by two brothers, Gerald and Eugene Staub, and several stepbrothers and stepsisters. 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at 12 PM, at Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, with her pastor, Rev. Mike Seifried officiating.  Burial will be in Mummert’s Church Cemetery in Abbottstown.  A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 10 AM until the time of the service.  Memorial contributions may be made to First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 200 Lincoln East, New Oxford, PA 17350.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
