Arthur "Butch" J. Lawyer

Arthur J. “Butch” Lawyer, Jr, 59, passed Saturday, July 15, 2023 at WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital. He was the husband of Bobbie J. (Reed) Lawyer, his wife of 20 years.

Butch was born September 29, 1963 in Hanover, the son of the late Arthur J. Lawyer, Sr, and Sonia L. (Mackey) McKenzie.

Butch was a hard-working iron worker, who loved being with his friends, drinking beer, riding his Harley, bar-hopping, listening to classic country music, and watching NASCAR. He will forever be remembered for his sense of humor.

In addition to his wife Bobbie, Butch is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Nicole Kennedy of Gettysburg, and Samantha Jo Sneeringer of Hagerstown, MD, two step sons, Tyler Bollinger of Bonneauvile and Kyle Bollinger of New Oxford, one step daughter, Samantha Cramer of Abbottstown, five grandchildren, one sister, Carol Brant of Saxton, two brothers, Chad Lawyer of New Oxford and Trevis Lawyer of Hanover, and one step brother, Earl Leese, Jr. of New Oxford.

There will be no service. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, from 6-8 PM, at Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, Burial will be private.
