Anthony M. “Tony” Smith

Anthony M. “Tony” Smith, 48, died Thursday, November 25, 2021, at UPMC Hanover Hospital.  He was the husband of Rebecca “Becky” (Kauffmann) Smith, his wife of 24 years.

Tony was born June 9, 1973, in Hanover, the son of Robert D. and Joyce M. (Walton) Smith of New Oxford.

Tony was a 1991 graduate of Delone Catholic High School, and a member of New Oxford Social & Athletic Club.  He was a loyal employee at Overhead Door Company of Hanover, and an avid Steelers, Penn State, Orioles and dirt track racing fan.  Tony enjoyed hiking, fishing and playing football with his grandson Grayson.

In addition to his wife Becky and his parents, Tony is survived by a daughter, Kourtney L. Kauffmann of Hanover, a grandson, Grayson D. Kauffmann of Hanover, and a brother, David R. Smith of Harrisonburg, VA.

A celebration of Tony’s life will be held at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105, or to Adams Co, SPCA, 11 Goldenville Rd Gettysburg, PA 17325.  Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, is in charge of arrangements.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
