William M. Hake, 68, of Dallastown went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at his residence. He was the husband of Dona Lee (Berger) Hake, his wife of 46 years. They were married on March 18, 1978.

William was born September 22, 1956 in York, the son of the late Chester P. Hake and Gloria Irene (Grim) Klunk.

William was the Pastor of the Abundant Life Center since 1981, and had served the Lord

with great passion for the people that God had put under his pastoral care.  It was his heart to be there to minister to his people, giving them the Word of God faithfully, and he purposed to press in till the very end of his life. He had a heart for missions and traveled to countries all over the world. God used him to touch the lives of so many people. He was able to take God's Word to Nigeria, India, Cali Columbia, Sri Lanka, Ukraine, Romania, Haiti, Poland, France, England, Austria, Croatia, Serbia, Hungary, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Russia.

In addition to his wife Dona, William is survived by two sons, Jared D. Hake and his wife Stephanie of York and Jesse M. Hake and his wife Jeena of York, two granddaughters, Marissa and Sophie Hake, and a sister Darlene McWilliams of Red Lion.

Saturday, November 16 we will have a time of honor and celebrating the life of Pastor William Hake. It will be held at Abundant Life Center, 3930 Farm Dr., York, PA 17402. Visitation and greeting the family will begin at 12:30 PM. The service will be 2:00 PM till 3:00 PM. After the service there will be a time of light refreshments. We welcome you to this joyous occasion as we celebrate his life and the ministry that he was called to.

In lieu of flowers it would be a blessing that contributions would go to Pastor Bill's passion for missions. Before he went to be with the Lord, his heart was to be able to bless a ministry in Tanzania "Touching Nations Today".
