William “Bill” Robert Emig, Jr., 69, of Abbottstown entered eternal rest on Monday, July 20, 2026, at his home. He was born in Hanover and was the son of Geraldine M. (Parr) Emig and the late William Robert Emig, Sr. He was the loving husband of 30 years to Kelly Jean (Blower) Emig.
Bill’s favorite team was the Nittany Lions and he loved all Penn State sports. He also enjoyed playing the Stat-O-Matic Baseball game. He was a big contributor of donation items to the Adams County SPCA and the Best Friends rescues. Bill’s K9 companion Maggie Mae was an important part of his life.
In addition to his mother and wife, Bill is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Altland and Aunt Norma Wilkenson. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Sharon L. Emig.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend Bill’s Viewing at Feiser Funeral & Cremation Care, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, PA on Monday, July 27, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Hampton Union Cemetery, New Oxford following the viewing.
