William A. "Bill" Coombs, Jr, 57, passed on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at his home after a courageous 6 year battle with colon cancer.  He was the husband of Windie S. (Pack) Coombs, his wife of 32 years.

Bill was born March 17, 1967, in York, the son of Barbara J. (Crulley) Brown and her companion Lou McCormack of York, and William A. Coombs of York.

Bill was a truck driver for more than 30 years and participated in truck driving championships.  He enjoyed bowling, collecting Hot Wheels and going to cars shows with his 66 Dodge Dart that he owned since he was 16.

In addition to his wife, mother and father, Bill is survived by two sons, Zachary R. Coombs of East Berlin, and Kaleb A. Coombs and his fiancée Maddie Potts of East Berlin, and an uncle Jimmy Crilley of Ocala, FL.

A service to celebrate Bill's life will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at 2 PM, at Lakeview Christian Fellowship, 4 Forrest Dr, East Berlin, with Pastor Brian Markle officiating.  A visitation will be held at the church from 1 PM until the time of the service.  Following the service, a light luncheon will be served and there will be a drive around the lake.  Memorial contributions may be made to Pennsylvania Cancer Specialists and Research Institute, 195 Stock St, Hanover, PA 17331.  Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 306 Harrisburg St, East Berlin, is in charge of arrangements.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
