Virgil R. Davidson, 78, of Abbottstown, entered into God's eternal care on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Pappus House in Thomasville. Virgil is survived by his wife Sharon. Together, they shared 57 years of marriage.
Virgil was born October 20, 1946, the son of the late Eugene E. and Ruth A. (Parks) Davidson.
Virgil was a graduate of Southern Huntington County High School and Williamsport Community College. He served in the Army Reserve from 1966-1972, and was employed for over 40 years at C.W. Test Builder, Inc, starting as a carpenter apprentice and working up to be Project Superintendent of the company. His pride and joy was his 1957 Chevy which he made many friends over the years attending car shows.
In addition to his wife Sharon, Virgil is survived by a brother, Elwood Davidson, a sister, Penny Miller, nieces, great nieces and great nephews, his mother-in-law, Loretta Wentz, sister-in-law, Cindy Warren, and brother-in-law, Jerry Warren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 11 AM, at Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, with Chaplain Dan Summers officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hanover. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 10 AM until the time of the service. Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
