Victor Barillas, 81, died November 17, 2016 at the Hershey Medical Center. Victor was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala, November 17 1935. He was the son of the late Rafael Barillas and Amanda Velasquez. Victor was a member of the church Iglesia Cristiana Manantial De Vida, New Oxford. He retired from R.H. Sheppard, Hanover, after 20 years of employment. As a migrant, Victor was very proud to become an American Citizen, earned his G.E.D. and learning English as a second language. He was an avid soccer fan who enjoyed watching the sport and in his younger years, playing soccer. Victor is survived by three daughters, Sara Contreras and her husband, Cesar A, of New Oxford, Maria Perez and her husband, Pastor Cesar E. of Hanover, and Mirna Wildasin and her husband, Carl, of Hanover; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Maria Luisa Barillas of Guatemala City, Guatemala; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 21, 2016 at 10 a.m. at the Iglesia Cristiana Manantial De Vida, 150 Little Ave., New Oxford, with the Pastor Cesar E. Perez officiating. Burial will follow at the New Oxford Cemetery. There will be a viewing on Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 4 to 6 p.m. from the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincolnway West, New Oxford, and Monday, 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
