Vergie I. (Griffin) Norris, 92, passed Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Genesis Healthcare, Gettysburg.

Vergie was born March 3, 1933, in New Oxford, the daughter of the late Glenn and Maggie (Finney) Griffin.

Vergie is survived by a son, Laverne Norris of Hanover, two daughters, Cindy Davis of Fairfield, Tammy Curry of Hanover, 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two daughters, Wilma Parker and Samantha Sheriff, a son, Wayne Norris, a brother, Kenneth Griffin, and five sisters, Mary Shaffer, Edith Feeser, Elda Pope, Harriet Keller and Bessie Harr.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at 11 AM, at Feiser Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, with Pastor Dave Carn officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 10 AM until the time of the service.
