Obituary

Tyson M. Barnhart, 38, passed Thursday, June 29, 2023, at his home.

Tyson was born July 24, 1984, in Hershey, the son of Kelly N. (Laughman) Chaney of Manchester, and Gary E. Barnhart of New Oxford.

Tyson attended Open Arms Recovery Center in Hanover.

In addition to his parents, Tyson is survived by two sons, Matthew W. Barnhart of Manchester, and Roy W. Rohem of Columbia, a daughter, Ivy Kitner of New Cumberland, a sister, Terra M. Fickes and her boyfriend Robert Dawson of Wellsville, his twin brother, Tyler M. Barnhart and his wife Jill of York, a brother, Robert L. Chaney and his wife Jenna of York, a brother, Aaron R. Chaney and his wife Vianey of Philadelphia, a brother, Toby M. Barnhart of Seattle, WA, his maternal grandmother, Shelby Hess of Hanover, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his stepfather, Robert A. Chaney, maternal grandfather, Roy M. Laughman, Jr, and paternal grandparents, Albert and Shirley Barnhart.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023 at 11 AM, at Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, with Pastor Wes Thomasin officiating.  Burial will be Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover.  A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10 AM until the time of the service.  Memorial contributions may be made to Open Arms Recovery Center, 300 Frederick St, Ste 3, Hanover, PA 17331.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
