Tyrone C. Riley, 74, died Sunday, February 5, 2017 at his residence after an 8 month struggle with cancer. He was the husband of Janet L. (Baugher) Riley, his wife of 35 years.
Tyrone was born October 24, 1942 in Spring Grove, the son of the late Raymond G. and Blanche E. (Amsbaugh) Riley.
Tyrone was a 1961 graduate of Spring Grove High School, served in the U.S. Army from 1963-65, and was a plumber by trade.
In addition to his wife, Janet, Tyrone is survived by a son, Tyrone C. Riley, Jr and his wife, Kelly of York; a daughter, Elizabeth J. Spealman and her husband, Rick of York; six grandchildren, James Barnhart, Travis Barnhart, Tyler Riley, Tyler Fuhrman, Nikki Whare, and Victoria Fuhrman; and two great-grandchildren, Rylee and Zoie Barnhart. He was predeceased by 13 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincolnway West, New Oxford, with Vicar Andy Wagner officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in Hanover. Military rites will be provided by the Hanover Allied Veterans Honor Guard. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m., and on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
