Tina Marie (Crowl) Cookerly, 49, died Thursday, September 29, 2016 at her home. She was the companion of Larry Becker. Tina was born April 28, 1967 in Carlisle, the daughter of Albert Jack Crowl, Sr. and Leota May (Wenger) Negley. Tina was a life member of the East Berlin V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, Post #8896, and a past member of the American Legion Auxiliary Dillsburg. She was employed with Pennwood Products in East Berlin. Tina was a passionate collector of anything dealing with wolves. She loved to travel and camp. Tina was a very independent, hardworking and loving woman.
Tina is survived by a son, Michael Lee Crowl of East Berlin; her father, Albert J. Crowl, Sr.; and step mother, Joanne Grove of East Berlin; her mother, Leota M. (Wenger) Negley of Dillsburg; six sisters, Rose Crowl of New Oxford, Dawn Crowl-Reichart and her husband, Andy of New Oxford, Sherry Miller of Dillsburg, Trudy Meredith and her husband, Steve of Wellsville, Valerie Miller and her husband, Kenneth of Manchester, and Toni Schneider and her husband, Andy of Dover; five brothers, Brian Grove and his wife, Cindy of York Springs, Richard Grove of Hanover, Albert Jack Crowl, Jr. and his wife, Joann of Carlisle, Donnie Crowl of Delaware and William "Joe" Crowl of New Oxford; her companion, Larry Becker of East Berlin; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Roy A. Crowl; and a half-sister Karen Crowl Mixell.
Following cremation, a visitation and memorial service will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016 from 5 till 8 p.m. at the East Berlin V.F.W. Social Hall, 107 Locust St., East Berlin. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the , 924N Colonial Ave., York, PA. 17403.
