Thomas "Tom" Eugene Beard passed away on Sunday June 14, 2026 at UPMC West Shore Hospital in Mechanicsburg. He was the son of Francis "Jake" and Verna "Sis" Beard of New Oxford.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son Jeb (Katie) Beard, his brothers Bobby (Elaine) Beard and Danny (Shelly) Beard, his sisters Linda Royer, Connie Toney, Tammy (Dominick) Brucculeri, and Donna Beard, his nephews Brett Beard, Aaron Beard, Jake Toney, and Zane Toney, his nieces Brandi (Ryan) Kennedy, Tosha Toney, and Tara Beard, and great niece Quiana Lee and great nephew Kingston Lee. He was predeceased by his brother Donald "Butch" Beard.

Tom was retired from R.H. Sheppard, and was an avid pool player who played on several local pool leagues.
