Thelma (Wilkens) Airey, 86, passed Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at Hanover Hall.  She was the wife of the late Ronald E. Airey, Sr, her husband of 65 years, who passed July 30, 2021.

Thelma was born March 20, 1937, in Baltimore, the daughter of the late John A. and Thelma M. (Schafer) Wilkens.

Thelma was a member of the United Methodist Church, and served as a Stephen Minister.

Thelma is survived by a son, Ronald E. Airey, Jr and his wife Linda, of Georgetown, DE, two daughters, Patricia A. Porter and her husband Michael of Hanover, and Katherine A. Dempsey and her husband Michael Kortum of Ormond Beach, FL, four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by a son, Robert T. Airey, and three brothers, John, Vernon and Albert Wilkens.
