Terry J. Nye, 56, died Thursday, December 17, 2020, at UPMC Memorial Hospital in York.  He was the husband of Trudi B. (Grandstaff) Nye, his wife of 26 years

Terry was born February 4, 1964, in Hanover, the son of the late Troy Nye, and the late Richard and Mary J. (Gantz) Wright.

Terry served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and was a member of the V.F.W.  Terry was a loving, selfless and fiercely loyal husband.  He was a jack of all trades, his hands could do almost anything, he figured out a way to make everything work, and he could build anything he set his mind to.  Terry was our rock, the calm in every storm, and he loved us with every ounce of his being.

In addition to his wife Trudi, Terry is survived by a daughter, Kayli B. Nye of Dillsburg, a son, Ethan L. Nye of Dillsburg, three brothers, Kenneth Nye of New Oxford, Robert Nye of Hanover, and Randy Nye of New Oxford, a sister, Cynthia Miller of Millsboro, DE, his mother-in-law, Rebecca Keagy of Spring Grove, and a sister-in-law, Amy Curtis and her husband Jim of East Berlin.
