Shirley D. Kulynych, age 90, went home to be with the Lord on July 29, 2026 at Pappus House in Thomasville, PA. She was born on April 7, 1936, in New Chester, PA, a daughter of the late Luther and Naomi Shanebrook Decker. She was one of eleven children.

Shirley was married to the late Charles Kulynych and had five children, Christine Sidelinger, Nancy Krepps, Susan Melhorn, Angela Kulynych, and Charles Kulynych. She dedicated her life to being a loving and cherished wife and mother. She will be missed greatly.

She is survived by her sister, Elsie Kepner, and brother, Charles Kulynych, many nieces and nephews, five children, eleven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

Friends and Relatives are invited to attend a viewing and funeral Mass Monday, August 3, 2026, at 9:30am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church at 6084 W. Canal Road, Abbottstown, PA. The Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am and can also be viewed at IHMParadise.org.
