Shirley J. (LaMotte) Glass, 85, died Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at her home.

Shirley was born February 21, 1936, in Hampstead, MD, the daughter of the late Elwood J. and Rosella (Masemer) LaMotte.

Shirley was employed with the Brethren Home Community for over 35 years, first as a payroll clerk, then as a bookkeeper, and later retiring in 1999 as an Admissions manager. Shirley loved to travel within the U.S.A. and abroad. Shirley attended the Jehovah witness Kingdom Hall, Pigeon Hill congregation.

Shirley is survived by a son, Jerome L. Glass, of New Oxford, a daughter, Michele J. Auchey and her husband Jed of Hanover, two grandchildren, Jesse and Jeremy Auchey of Hanover, a brother, Michael LaMotte and his wife Delores of Hanover, and an ex- husband, Joseph Glass of Hanover. She was predeceased by a sister, Doris Weaver.
