Shirley J. (Davis) Almeida, 74, passed Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Penn Medicine, Philadelphia. She was the wife of Arthur Almeida, Jr, her husband of 25 years.

Shirley was born October 24, 1947, in Mt. Pleasant, PA, the daughter of the late Paul M. and Helen L. (Bates) Davis.

Shirley was employed with Hanover Hall Nursing Home as a Certified Nursing Assistant for 38 year, retiring in 2018.

In addition to her husband Arthur, Shirley is survived by a son, A.J. Jarosz and his wife Darlene of Susan, VA, three daughters, Donna Wright and her husband Jon of Punta Gorda, FL, Christine Smith and her husband Donald of Gettysburg, and Helen Yohe and her husband Rick of Hanover, 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, two brothers, Roger Davis and his wife Toni of Mt. Airy, MD and Paul Davis and his wife Nancy of Punxsutawney, and a sister, Barbara Quarrick and her husband Ed of Warren OH. She was predeceased by a step sister, Marlene Eicker.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 12 PM from Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 306 Harrisburg St., East Berlin, with the Pastor Barry Sweitzer officiating. Burial will be private. A viewing will be held at the funeral home Thursday, from 10 AM until the time of the service.
