Shirley J. Crum, 67, died Thursday, June 9, 2016, at the York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Larry E. Crum, her husband of 48 years.
Shirley was born December 4, 1948, in Westminster, Md., the daughter of the late Nelson M. and Ruth Mildred (Dutterer) Zeigler. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.
Shirley is survived by a daughter, Vickie D. Crouse of East Berlin; a son, Michael E. Crum of Erie; a granddaughter, Andrea D. Crouse of Gardners; a grandson, Travis C. Crouse and his fiancée, Megan R. Cherry of East Berlin; two great-grandsons, Cameron and Carter Colon, both of Gardners; seven sisters, Lois Reed of New Oxford, Janet Ruhland of Spring Grove, Darlene Smith of Abbottstown, Cindy Tait of East Berlin, Nancy Strausbaugh of New Oxford, Marian Rippeon of Hagerstown, Md., and Marilyn Cole of Minnesota. Shirley was predeceased by a brother, Roland Zeigler.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 1 p.m. from the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc., 302 Lincolnway West, New Oxford, with Pastor Don Wolabaugh officiating. Burial will be in the Biglerville Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Wednesday at the funeral home from 12 p.m. until the time of the service. Memories may be shared at
