Sherry L. (Anthony) Groft, 62, passed Thursday, June 13, 2024, at her home.  She was the wife of Thomas J. Groft, her husband of 43 years.

Sherry was born August 5, 1961, in Hanover, the daughter of the late James C. Anthony and the late Shirley R. (Myers) Knox.

Sherry was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbottstown, and was employed at Sheridan Press in Hanover for 35 years.

In addition to her husband Tom, Sherry is survived by two sons, Daniel C. Groft and his wife April of Pottstown, and Douglas C. Groft and his wife Megan of East Berlin, three grandchildren, Ezra Groft, Quinn Groft and Charles Groft, two sisters, Joyce A. Robinson of New Oxford, and Peggy S. Decker of Spring Grove, and two brothers, Mark E. Anthony and his wife Julie of Red Lion, and Mitchel D. Knox of Biglerville.  She was predeceased by a nephew, Michael A. Smith.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024, at 10:30 AM, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 6084 W. Canal Rd, Abbottstown, with Rev. Philip Burger officiating.  Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, New Oxford.  A viewing will be held on Thursday from 6-8 PM, at Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, with prayers at 8 PM.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 42040, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
