Scott A. Hertz, 61, of Gardners, died Sunday, January 6, 2019, at Gettysburg Hospital.  He was the companion of Terri L. Myers.

Scott was born June 11, 1957, in Hanover, the son of Thomas L. Hertz of East Berlin, and the late Mary Lou (Horwedel) Hertz.

Scott loved plastering, masonry and woodworking, and enjoyed sharing his knowledge with others.

In addition to his father and companion, Scott is survived by two daughters, Telly Taylor and her husband Dan of Pittsburgh, and Rebecca D. Price and her husband Ben of Easley, SC, three sons, Lee Hertz and his wife Brittney of East Berlin, Tyler L. Hertz and his wife Cailee of Biglerville, and Nathan A. Hertz of NC, eight grandsons, two granddaughters, two sisters, Steph King and Crystal Stiles, both of East Berlin, and his beloved dogs, Popper, Amber and Laz.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 306 Harrisburg St, East Berlin, is in charge of arrangements.  Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home for to help defray costs.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
