Ruth Elizabeth Staub, 86, of New Oxford, died Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at the York Hospital.

Ruth was born August 1, 1931 in Reading Township, Adams County, the daughter of the late Charles Jeremiah and Katie Alice (Altland) Staub.

Ruth was a member of the Upper Conewago Church of the Brethren in Abbottstown, a graduate of East Berlin High School, class of 1949. Ruth was employed at Coulson-Hill Shoe Co. for many years until her retirement. She was loved by all her nieces and nephews.

Ruth was predeceased by a sister, Betty Megonnell, and two brothers: Charles Staub and Robert Staub.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at 1:00 PM, at the Mummert's Church Cemetery, 391 Mummert's Church Rd, Abbottstown, with Elder Allen Nell officiating. There will be no viewing. The Feiser Funeral Home, Inc. 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Upper Conewago Church of the Brethren, 391 Mummert's Church Rd., Abbottstown, PA. 17301.
