Ruth N. (Worley) Rebert, 89, of Hanover, died Friday, April 29, 2016, at Hanover Hall. She was the wife of the late Harper P. Rebert, who died January 28, 1994.
Ruth was born September 24, 1926 in Brushtown, the daughter of the late George R. and Mary M. (Forry) Worley.
Ruth was a member of Hanover Community Church, and was formerly employed at Middleburg Manufacturing, Revonah Spinning, Doubleday, and Kentucky Fried Chicken where she was the buffet queen.
Ruth is survived by a 4 daughters; Jean E. Becker of Spring Grove, Deborah L. Widerman and her husband Mark of New Oxford, Evelyn L. Rhodes and her husband Robert of New Oxford, and Bonnie G. Rebert of Womelsdorf, 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, 2 sisters; Doris Dull and her husband Nevin, and Miriam Barnhart and her husband Nevin, all of Hanover, and 2 sisters-in-law, Miriam Worley and Darlene Worley. She was predeceased by a daughter, Joan E. Rebert, a son, James M. Rebert, a granddaughter, Amy McAdams, 2 brothers; Roy and George Worley, and a sister, Mildred Smith.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 10 AM at the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincolnway West, New Oxford, with Rev. Scott Brown officiating. Burial will be in New Oxford Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-8 PM, and on Thursday from 9 AM until the time of the service.
