Roy K. Millhimes, 89, of New Oxford, passed Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Gardens of Gettysburg Nursing Home.

Roy was born February 28, 1935 in New Oxford, the son of the late Howard E. and Gladys M. (Bollinger) Millhimes.

Roy was employed at Alwine Brick Company in New Oxford for many years, loved hunting, spending time in Potter Co, and eating several meals a day at Rosie's Restaurant.

Roy is survived by a daughter, Denise K. Storm and her husband Ricky of New Oxford, two sons, Roy J. "Joe" Millhimes and his companion Tonya of Fairfield, and Craig A. Millhimes, of New Oxford, a daughter, Carolyn R. Shroades and her husband Scott of New Oxford, two granddaughters, Melissa Nitchman and her husband John and Trish Baker and her husband Bobby, four great grandchildren, Guy Nitchman, Bryce Nitchman, Lane Nitchman and Megan Baker, a brother, George "Bill" Millhimes and his wife Jackie of New Oxford, and two sisters, Ida Staub of Gettysburg and Dorothy "Dot" Robinson and her husband Bernie of New Oxford.  He was predeceased by three brothers, Charles Millhimes, Howard Millhimes, Jr, and John Millhimes, and a sister, Katherine "Kass" Becker.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, from 12-2 PM, at Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford. Burial will follow in New Oxford Cemetery.
