Rosella L. Slothour

Rosella L. (Luckenbaugh) Slothour, 75, died Friday, May 26, 2017, at Hanover Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of George A. Slothour, her husband of 56 years.
Rosella was born April 24, 1942, in Hanover, the daughter of the late Albertus and Pearl (Becker) Luckenbaugh, and the late Louise Becker and Charles Reck.
Rosella was a member of First Lutheran Church in New Oxford, and was a 1960 graduate of New Oxford High School. She was a very loving and caring person, and loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband George, Rosella is survived by a son, Roy A. Slothour and his wife Lori of New Oxford; a daughter, Georgia A. Weibley and her husband Darwin of Abbottstown; four grandchildren, Jason Slothour and his wife Megan, Kaitlyn Leight and her husband Christopher, Brandon Weibley and his companion Ashleigh Feilinger, and Courtney Hockensmith and her husband Casey; five great-grandchildren, Emily Weibley, Carter Weibley, Kylie Slothour, Chloe Weibley and Leah Slothour, with two more to be born in September; two sisters, Pearl Yoho of Cashtown, and Louise Slothour of New Oxford; and a stepsister, Nancy Myers of Hanover.
Funeral services will be held on Thurs., June 1, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, with Rev. Shawn Berkebile officiating. Burial will be in New Oxford Cemetery.
