Rose M. (Carbaugh) Topper, 73, passed Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at her home.
Rose was born November 29, 1950, in Hanover, the daughter of the late Charles J. and Estella E. (Kuhn) Carbaugh.
Rose was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Oxford.
Rose is survived by four daughters, Jill A. Dawson and her husband Rich of Independence, OH, Janice L. Snyder and her husband Jason of Camp Hill, PA, Jessica L. O'Brien and her husband Dan of Hanover, PA, and Joy M. Measel and her husband Geoff of New Castle, PA,16 grandchildren, Sydney McKay, Cody Dawson, Cheyenne Coleman, Logan Snyder, Keira Rose Snyder, Tyler O'Brien, Brady O'Brien, Jacob O'Brien, Henry O'Brien, Geoffrey Measel, Mikaila Measel, Greyson Measel, Marika Measel, Elianna Measel, Gerritt Measel and Everleigh Measel, four great grandchildren, Sawyer Coleman, Juniper Coleman, Woodley Coleman and Eleanor Rose Dawson, a brother, Burnell Carbaugh of New Oxford, and two sisters, Mary Menges and Dorothy Downin, both of New Oxford. She was predeceased by a daughter, Jacqueline Donnelly, and nine brothers and sisters.
Rose was a loving mother and grandmother whose children and grandchildren were the light of her life. She had a big heart, connected with everyone, and was always willing to help someone in need. Her strong faith was always present, and she enjoyed playing cards, gardening, dancing the night away or watching her grandchildren play sports.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 24, 2024, at 11 AM, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 106 Carlisle St, New Oxford, with Rev. Keith Carroll officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A viewing will be held on Sunday from 5-7 PM at Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincolnway West, New Oxford, with prayers at 7 PM.
