Rosaria “Rose” Maniscalco, 79, of New Oxford, entered eternal rest on Monday, April 20, 2026 at Hanover Hall Nursing and Rehab after a brief illness. She was born in Sicily and was the daughter of the late Francesco and Francesca (Licari) Grippi. She was the loving wife of Anthony Maniscalco for 59 wonderful years.

She and her husband owned Rose’s Pizza & Restaurant for 30+ years where Rosaria loved to serve her community. She loved to cook and feed people even when she was not at work. She also enjoyed baking, tending her vegetable garden, and sewing. Her greatest love was spending time with all her family and extended family.

In addition to her husband, Rosaria is survived by her children, Pauline Aldridge of Hanover, Francesca Sapp (Tres) of Hanover, and Anthony (Denise) of KS; siblings, Pia, Rosa, Frank, and Maria; grandchildren, Jennifer (BJ Hall), Johnny, Andrew, Marialana (faience, Kevin Ecker), Michael, Isabella, Ava, Tammy, Roman, Thomas, and Jazmine; great-grandchild, Furio and numerous, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Rosaria’s Funeral Service at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 106 Carlisle Street, New Oxford, PA, on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
