Ronald B. Rutters, 72, passed Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at his home.

Ron was born February 20, 1950, in Dillsburg, the son of the late Bernard C. and Margaret (Heiges) Rutters.

Ron served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and was employed at Snyder's of Hanover for more than 30 years.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and was a member ofAMVETS, in Hanover.

Ron is survived by four sons, Shane R. Rutters and Craig B. Rutters, both of New Oxford, Bryan L. Rutters of Gettysburg, and Josh L. Rutters of Hanover, 12 grandchildren, and two sisters, Neady Horvath of East Berlin, and Ginny Shatto of Dillsburg.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at 11 AM, at St. John's U.C.C. Church, 2243 Hunterstown-Hampton Rd, New Oxford, with Rev. Douglas C. Hahn officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Viewings will be held on Tuesday, from 6-8 PM at Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, and on Wednesday at the church from 10 AM until the time of the service.  Memorial contributions may be made to Amedisys Hospice, 3350 Paxton Dr, Ste 5, Harrisburg, PA 17111.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
