Ronald Lee Hershey, a dedicated husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 30th, 2026, at his residence in Spring Grove, Pennsylvania. Born in York, PA, Ronald lived a life full of love, passion, and commitment to his family.

Ronald was previously a dedicated truck driver who epitomized hard work and determination, qualities that extended into all facets of his life. Outside of his occupation, he was an avid hunter who found peace in the great outdoors. He enjoyed spending time with his brother, James, and friends at their cabin in Sullivan County.

Ronald is survived by his devoted wife, Nancy (Spangler) Hershey, with whom he shared 67 years of marriage. He leaves behind his beloved daughters, Sharon (Barry), Zepp and Cindy (Tony) Balek. His spirit lives on in his grandchildren, Heather (Shane) Gosnell, Anthony (Autumn) Balek, Jason Zepp (Samantha Welsh) and Brooke Balek (Cody Mai). Ronald was also delighted in the laughter and energy of his great-grandchildren.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, William R. Hershey and Relda V. (Shue) Hershey, his brother and best friend, James E. Hershey.

Ronald Lee Hershey's life was characterized by love, dedication, and passionate beliefs. He leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire his family and friends. He will be missed profoundly but remembered with love and admiration.

Ronald’s journey on this earth may have ended, but his spirit and love will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
