Ronald R. "Ron" Cameron, Jr., 49, died Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Rebecca J. (Keating) Cameron. Ron was born November 24, 1967 in York, the son of Ronald R. Cameron, Sr., of Dalmatia and the late Gertrude (Almoney) Bupp.
Ron served on the Jackson Township Sewer Authority in York County, for over 11 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Abbottstown Council and a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbottstown. Ron was employed for over 17 years with Weis Food Markets in their Information Technology department.
In addition to his wife and father, Ron is survived by a daughter, Brittany Speelman and her husband, Joe of Hanover; four sons, Ronald R. Cameron III of York, Tanner P. Cameron of York, Clay C. Keating of Thomasville, and Hunter M. Cameron of Thomasville; a granddaughter, Cassadie Willow Piatt of Kentucky; a brother, Carl Cameron of Red Lion; a stepfather, Paul Bupp of Dover; a niece; and numerous nephews; aunts; and uncles. He was predeceased by a brother, Barry Cameron.
Following cremation, a memorial Rosary service will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 8 p.m. at the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 306 Harrisburg St., East Berlin, by the Legion of Mary, Abbottstown. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
