Roger W. Markle, 74, passed Thursday, November 21, 2024, at his home. He was the husband of Novella "Bell" (Griffin) Markle, his wife of 34 years, who died August 8, 2022.

Roger was born October 23, 1950, in Hanover, the son of the late Donald H. and Betty E. (Noel) Markle.

Roger retired from Delwood Kitchens after 49 years of employment. He enjoyed woodworking, the history of the Civil War, eating at the York Street Treat and cruising in his 1958 Chevy Impala.

Roger is survived by a brother, Terry L. Markle of York, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Randy Markle.
