Robert L. Laughman, 82, passed Thursday, January 8, 2026, at WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital. He was the loving husband of Barbara A. (Weaver) Laughman, his wife of 63 years.

Bob was born February 3, 1943, in Hanover, the son of the late Clair and Mary (Frock) Laughman.

Bob was a member of McSherrystown Fish & Game, raced sulky horses, was employed by Teledyne Mechanics and retired from Hadco. He was known for his witty sense of humor, and enjoyed hunting, gardening and his flowers. Bob’s grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he never missed their events.

In addition to his wife Barbara, Bob is survived by two daughters, Tammy Wiseman of Carlisle, and Cherie Haugh and her husband Rick of Hanover, two sons, Robert L. Laughman, Jr of New Oxford, and Bill L. Laughman and his wife Michelle of New Oxford, seven grandchildren, Rick Haugh, Jr, Abby Baker, Bobby Laughman, III, Katie Haugh, Joshua Haugh, Lake Laughman and Kinser Laughman, four great grandchildren, Jacob Haugh, Lillian Laughman, Cash Laughman and Navy Laughman, and a sister, Sally Harrell. He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Laughman, a sister, Josephine Livelsberger, and a son-in-law, Bradley Wiseman.
